  • Front-camera on desktop for ID When you verify on a laptop/desktop, we now use the front camera by default and handle tricky devices more gracefully (including iPhone/iOS desktop and some Chinese/Huawei setups). Result: fewer camera switches and smoother starts.
  • Face Privacy Mode (passive liveness) For passive liveness checks, admin can choose a privacy mode, so the user gets a blurry effect when performing the liveness, to simulate a privacy mode.
  • Sharper video; fewer hiccups iPhone recordings use a higher quality profile and we’ve reduced black-screen/permission edge cases. WebViews now redirect more reliably so users don’t get stuck.
  • Quicker 2FA steps Pressing Enter submits SMS/email codes in phone and email verification, and phone inputs auto-format correctly (even in countries with multiple calling codes). This shortens the verification time.
  • Unilink We’ve launched Unilinks — a reusable, no-code verification link for any workflow. Instead of creating sessions manually or via API, admins can now share a single, permanent link that users can open anytime to start the verification flow. It’s the fastest way to onboard without setup or engineering work. Learn more about here
  • Age rules: min & max You can now enforce both minimum and maximum age—and configure actions when a user falls outside the range (e.g., decline or request set to In Review).
  • Bengali added The product is now available in Bengali, expanding our language coverage alongside the rest of the localized UI.
  • SSO & authentication options New sign-in methods, device management, and SSO setup under organization settings—easier, safer access control for your team.
  • Questionnaires are simpler to build The editor is cleaner and faster for creating/editing forms (sections, translations, uploads), so ops teams can iterate without dev help.
  • Manual checks, upgraded Clearer views for Face Match/POA/AML/ID, new risk indicators, and better PDF exports—so human reviews are quicker and more consistent.
  • Database Validation tools More options and localization, streamlined UI, and continued support for 1×1 and 2×2 matches—helping confirm user data against authoritative sources.
  • Data retention up to 10 years Compliance teams can set longer data-retention windows directly in settings when required by policy.
  • Similarity tuning Optional ethnicity-based similarity thresholds are available for detecting duplicated faces.
  • Workflow UX polish Session approval controls, clearer status displays, reliable reusable links, and a more accurate whitelabel preview—admins see exactly what end users will see.
