# Clear Your Decision on a VASP

> Clear your application's own decision on a Travel Rule counterparty VASP; an entity then follows its brand's decision again.

<AgentPromptAccordion
title="Clear a VASP Decision API Prompt"
prompt={`Clear my application's own decision on a Travel Rule counterparty VASP.

Endpoint:
DELETE https://verification.didit.me/v3/travel-rule/vasps/{vasp_id}/decision/

Authentication:
Use the x-api-key header with my Didit API key. No request body.

What happens:
- 200 with {"decision": ...}: the decision that applies once mine is cleared. That is null, or for an entity of a brand the brand's decision, which the entity follows again (inherited_from names the brand).
- Transactions my rules evaluate afterwards read the new counterparty_dd_status.

Failure modes:
- 404 - no directory entry or listed Didit network member has this id, or my application has no decision of its own on it. A decision the entity only follows from its brand is cleared on the brand.
