# List Pickup Messages

> Public, unauthenticated. The messages of an EMAIL-rail transfer as the counterparty VASP reads them: what the customer sent is `INBOUND` and is signed with the customer's VASP name. The token is the authentication.

  title="List Pickup Messages API Prompt"
  prompt={`Read the messages of an EMAIL-rail Travel Rule transfer as the counterparty VASP sees them.

Endpoint:
GET https://verification.didit.me/v3/travel-rule/pickup/{token}/messages/

Authentication:
None - the one-time pickup link token is the credential.

What to read from the response:
- A plain array, oldest first, from the counterparty's side: what the customer sent has direction INBOUND and its author is the customer's VASP name.

Failure modes:
- 404 - unknown token.
- 410 - the pickup link expired or the transfer is closed.
