User Analytics Dashboard
The User Analytics Dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of your user activity and growth, helping you monitor performance, track trends, and make data-driven decisions about your user base.
Dashboard Overview
The dashboard is divided into several key sections, each offering unique insights into your user metrics:
- Key User Metrics
- Active Users Over Time
- User Growth Indicators
Time Frame Selection
At the top of the dashboard, you can select different time frames for your analytics:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Annually (default)
This allows you to analyze trends over different periods and tailor your view to your specific needs.
Key Metrics and Charts
1. Key User Metrics
This section displays three crucial user metrics for the last month:
a. Users
- Total number of users
- Growth rate
- Includes a small line graph showing the trend
b. Monthly Active Users
- Number of monthly active users
- Growth rate
- Includes a small line graph showing the trend
c. Daily Active Users
- Number of daily active users
- Growth rate
- Includes a small line graph showing the trend
These metrics provide a quick overview of your user base size and engagement levels.
2. Active Users Over Time
A large area chart displaying the number of active users over time within the selected period (annually in this example).
- Title
- Total MAU
- Growth rate
- X-axis: Months of the year
- Y-axis: Number of active users
- The shaded area represents the volume of active users
- Data points for each month
This chart helps you identify patterns in user activity, such as seasonal trends or the impact of specific events or campaigns.
Using the Analytics Dashboard
-
Monitor User Growth: Use the Users metric to track overall growth of your user base.
-
Track Engagement: Keep an eye on Monthly and Daily Active Users to understand how engaged your user base is.
-
Analyze Long-term Trends: Use the Active Users Over Time chart to identify patterns in user activity across the year.
-
Identify Seasonal Patterns: Look for recurring patterns in the annual view that might indicate seasonal effects on user activity.
-
Measure Campaign Impact: If you run marketing campaigns or release new features, observe their impact on user metrics in the corresponding time periods.
-
Compare Periods: Use the time frame selectors to compare performance across different days, weeks, months, or years.
The growth rates and active user counts being identical across different metrics (Users, Monthly Active Users, Daily Active Users) in this example is unusual and likely placeholder data. In a real scenario, these metrics would typically show different values and growth rates.
Additional Features
- The dashboard appears to support multiple projects or apps. You can switch between them using the dropdown menu in the top left corner (currently showing "Modal login").
- Navigation options on the left sidebar allow quick access to other sections like Verifications, Users, and various settings.
By regularly analyzing these metrics, you can gain valuable insights into your user base, track the success of your product, and make informed decisions to drive growth and engagement.
