Verification Links provide a convenient way to initiate identity verification sessions directly from your dashboard. This feature generates a unique link and QR code for each verification session, offering flexibility in how you engage with users for identity verification.

How It Works

Step 1: Create a New Session

  • Navigate to the Verification section in your dashboard.
  • Click on the "+" button to create a new verification session.

Select a Workflow

You can select from our predefined workflows or create a new custom workflow tailored to your specific needs. Learn more about all available options in the Workflows section.

Session Generation

  • Optionally, add the vendor data (such as their email or user ID) for later user identification.
  • Click "Create Session" to generate the unique verification link.

Access Options

  • QR Code: A unique QR code is generated for the session.
  • URL: A short URL is provided that you can copy and share with the user.
  • Email: Optionally, add the user's email to receive the verification link invitation.

Share the Link

  • For in-person verification: Have the user scan the QR code.
  • For remote verification: Share the URL or rely on the email invitation.

Workflow Selection Guide

When creating a verification link, select the workflow that best matches your verification requirements:

Best Practices

  1. Security:

    • Treat each verification link as sensitive information.
    • Ensure links are shared securely and only with the intended recipient.
  2. Expiration:

    • Links have a 7 days expiration time for security. Inform users to complete the verification promptly.
  3. User Instructions:

    • Provide clear instructions to users on how to access and complete the verification process.
    • Explain what documents or information they may need based on the selected workflow.
  4. Workflow Selection:

    • Choose the most appropriate workflow for your specific verification needs.
    • Consider the balance between security requirements and user experience.
  5. Monitoring:

    • Regularly check your dashboard for the status of initiated verifications.
  6. In-Person Use:

    • When using the QR code in person, ensure a stable internet connection and appropriate privacy for the user.

Troubleshooting

  • If a user doesn't receive the email, check spam folders or resend the link.

  • If a link expires before use, simply generate a new verification session.
